What do I need to bring for my appointment?

Any relevant scans (xray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, etc) and reports that might help your practitioner gain a better understanding of what is causing your symptoms.

How long are appointments and how much do they cost?

For Osteopathy, new patient appointments are approximately 45-60 minutes in duration. The price for this consultation is 130.0. This allows for a comprehensive case history, medical background, examination of your area/s of complaint, treatment and exercise prescription and advice on how to manage your complaint if required.

Return patient consultations are approximately 30 minutes in duration. The price for this consultation is 95.0.

If an extended or long return patient consultation is required covering complex conditions or multiple regions, these consultations are approximately 45mins and an hour in duration and cost 140.0 and 170.0 respectively.

Myotherapy consultations are available in the following times:

  • New patient (130.0)

  • 30 minutes (95.0)

  • 45 minutes (140.0)

  • 1 hour (170.0)

Any appointments booked on a Saturday/Sunday or a public holiday incur a surcharge fee.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Loose, comfortable clothing is best recommended to allow your practitioner to apply stretches and other treatment techniques to areas that relate to your complaint, without your clothing restricting you. Your practitioner may ask your permission to remove a shirt or pants, depending on the area of complaint, to be able to more accurately assess movement of joints and areas of dysfunction or restriction, and to apply treatment. We use towels to cover sensitive areas as your comfort is of the utmost importance.
